Fuze House Review
I am conducting an investigative study on the NYC boutique fitness ecosystem and have posted all of my reviews on TikTok and some of them on Instagram. In this series I try the class and review and recap intro offers, class packs and membership pricing. These will be 100000% honest reviews. I have a spreadsheet with all of the data linked in my instagram bio. So feel free to check that out as well! This will be my review on Fuze House. I am going to give a ranking for Workout, Amenities and Pricing.
For their pricing: Fuze House offers your first class for $35, after your first class,
1 Class $40
5 Classes $195
10 Classes $380
20 Classes $700
Their membership options are as follows
8 Classes p/m $280
12 Classes p/m $360
16 Classes p/m $440
24 Classes p/m $480
Relative to the median pricing across NYC Fuze house is Slightly high This is technically about what is average across NYC (unfortunately) 1 class is $40 where the average is $41.56. A 10 class pack is $380 where the average is $352.60 My annoyance was with the first class being $35 that is extremely high for an intro offer TBH.
For their amenities - I gave fuze house a 3.5 its Pretty ok - very small space and nice products (dyson hair dryers) and there are showers at the location. It is just challenging because of how many women are in the class - there are only two showers and there is not room to move around or change.
In terms of the workout
The workout was pretty intense tbh. It was a typical mat pilates situation but the room got extremely hot. At one point I looked at the thermostat and it was 102. Ridiculous. I don't think I would do a long term membership here but it was definitely a good experience. They used all bala products so I had the bala bangles, the bala weights - which was super aesthetic. The instructor's mic was like broken half the time which was super frustrating. all in all i would give the actual workout a 3.9 - couldn't tell if it was good just because it was hot
